Thursday, February 8, 2007, 08:41 AM - Friday Meetings
This Friday, CGSA will be having its first ever Concert of Prayer! What is a Concert of Prayer, you ask? Basically the Concert is an organized time of prayer in several ways (personal reflection, pairs, small groups, entire group) for several purposes (personal needs, the OSU campus and local community, and the world). We will be mixing in time of singing/worship and Scripture reading. Come and take a part and let us know if you like it.

Many CGSAers are active in the Columbus community and worried about social issues effecting the local area and the world. Are you involved with such an charity organization? Would you like to spend 5-10 minutes speaking on the issues your group are involved in the CGSA meeting on Feb 16th? If so drop John Helmus an email and I'll give you further details.

Thursday, February 1, 2007, 09:28 AM - Friday Meetings
This Friday we continue our series on "Paradoxes and Mysteries of the Christian Faith." Our speaker will be Jay Gamelin, who will help us to continue to explore the paradox of Faith and Works. While Jay was attending college in North Carolina, he woke up to the power of God and has been seeking how to serve ever since. He has served God as a musician, friend, youth communicator, youth leader, writer, husband, improv actor, parent, and pastor. Jay wants nothing more than to wake up the revolution that is the church and set it to work at telling the world the good news. He currently is serving at The Chapel at OSU, a mission of the Lutheran Church.
